A little goes a long way

Dr. Marcus was a past president of the Connecticut Academy of General Dentistry as well as the regional vice president and a national director of the Academy of General Dentistry. He was a proud member of the board of directors of the Lewis Fox Division of Continuing Education at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine. To honor his lifelong work and dedication to improving the field of dentistry, the Connecticut State Dental Association established a fund for continuing education that acknowledges his work and memory.
This fund was established in order to provide financial assistance to dental professionals who have been affected by an accidents, natural disasters, a medical condition, disability or because of advanced age, are unable to meet basic expenses. Dentists, their dependents, and former dependents of deceased dentists are eligible to apply for financial aid from the Foundation if an accidental injury, advanced age, physically debilitating illness, medically-related condition or a natural disaster prevents them from gainful employment and results in an inability to be wholly self-sustaining.
This fund was established for the collection and the subsequent distribution of donated dental equipment to be used for providing care to the underserved by nonprofits in and out of the United States.
